Finnish Civil defense or Firebrigade hardline, with friction break and screw lock carabine. These are the last ones, very nice and clean condition.
Old Civ.Def surplus, most likely 1990´s
There should be, if any regulations are followed, 25 meters of rope, but these have been in serious use for quite a time, and it is unknown if the rope has been switched to a thicker or if the rope has been shortened for some reason. There is no guarantee if a full roll is the actual 25m.
The carabiner is very rigid construction of duraluminium or other high tensile strength alloy with high corrosion resistance. The line break is made of same alloy.
Rope is very high quality as it is standard in rescue services, all materials have very high safety margins.
Some are sooty ( like the one in picture ), but all are usable and metal parts and the spool are in good condition.
