WW1 - WW2 Finnish Army / German army, gauze, unopened pack.
WW1 - WW2 Finnish Army / German army, gauze, unopened pack.
Original, 1st world war / continuation war era gauze pads, full pack, original wrapper.
All have Finnish army label, with instructions of use.
Some label instruct to open from "hier anfassen" as the contents of pack are german.
The oldest packs have german imperial army stamps from III army sanitary, these packs came to Finland during the civil war, when the Jaegers or german troops landed in 1918. These packs have been relabeled by Finnish army and kept in store for the next 100 years.
Some packs do not have ant hint about the contents origins, if there is German, 3rd reich, Soviet or Finnish gauze in the pack. We did not wish to open the packs as the wrappers are very nice condition for their age.
Some packs have labels from 1941.
The wrappers have multitude of colors, we just sorted them to blue, brown, greenish. It is possible some have fainted a bit, and some have a little texture on the wrappers.
All are in Fairly good condition for their age, the 1918 stuff is rarely this good in appearance. There is stains, some nicks, dirt and other minor defects, as there should be after 70+ years of storage, after a quick war trip or two.
All measures are approximate, the weight, size, and contents wary as the items have been packed 1918-1941, mostly the packs have 400 or 500 pcs of gauze pads, in 20pcs packs. We do not recommend opening of packs as the contents are very likely unusable, do not use as medical supply.
